Infant's body recovered in Rajouri's Darhal | KNO

Rajouri, Sept 05 (KNO): Body of a new born baby was recovered in Dodaj village of Darhal in Rajouri district of Jammu region late Friday evening following which police have started investigation into the matter. A police officer told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that locals from Dodaj saw the body of a new born baby girl lying in the area on Friday and later informed the police. "The body was taken into possession by a team of police from Darhal police station." He said that medico-legal formalities including genetic sampling has been done in civil hospital and a case under relevant sections of law was also registered. He said that SDPO Thanamandi Sajjad Khan is heading the investigation—(KNO)
